Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the IT or consulting sector.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate leads, and build strong client relationships.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.

  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; fluency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.

  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, managed services, and the business/management consulting landscape.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and develop strategic business development plans.

  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential new business opportunities and clients within the IT solutions and managed services sector.

  • Support senior business development managers in developing and executing strategic sales plans.

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials for prospective clients.

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through effective communication and follow-up.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between clients and the sales team.

  • Contribute to lead generation efforts through various channels, including networking and digital outreach.

  • Learn and apply sales methodologies and best practices to achieve individual and team targets.

  • Provide administrative support to the business development team, including data entry and CRM management.

  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to represent the company and network with potential clients.
