Contract Aviation Repair Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,700 + overtime in PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Selangor - Maukerja

Position Title : General Technician

Industry : Aeroderivative turbine

Location: Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ), Pulau Indah, Selangor

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (0830 to 1730) & Require shift work in future

Contract Duration : 12 months contract with PERSOL (renewal based on performance)

Salary Range : RM2,500 to RM3,500 (based on qualification & experience)

Interview Mode: Face-to-face

Who can apply?

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; vocational/technical training is an added advantage.

• Prior experience in a workshop or component repair environment preferred.

• Basic understanding of tools used in cleaning, blending, cutting, and welding.

• Able to follow instructions, read work orders, and complete tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.

• Willing to learn and adapt to various repair processes.

Metal Removal & Cold Work Operations

• Perform manual chiselling on metal components (e.g., honeycomb removal) according to job requirements.

• Carry out cold‑work processes, including Hammering, cold cutting & shaping, Cold bending & Punching

• Read and follow work orders, drawings, and supervisor instructions accurately.

• Operate hand tools safely, such as hammers, chisels, files, scrapers, and manual cutting tools.

• Ensure proper material identification, handling, and storage of parts and finished components.

• Support any ad‑hoc production tasks when needed.

Safety Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and JSA strictly.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

• Adhere to company policies and site rules at all times.

Quality & Documentation

• Perform tasks according to specified quality standards and tolerances.

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using basic measuring tools.

• Report defects, material issues, or non‑conformities promptly.

• Complete required production records, log sheets, and checklists.

• Maintain gauges and fixtures in correct working condition.

Equipment & Tool Care

• Inspect all tools before use to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of hand tools and equipment after use.
