Assistant Engineer (Production/Manufacturing) Overview
This role focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and supporting daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, or process failures on the shop floor.
- Process Optimization: Identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to increase output and reduce waste.
- Maintenance: Assisting with preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety (EHS) protocols, and quality standards (e.g., ISO).
- Data Reporting: Monitoring KPIs (e.g., cycle time, yield) and maintaining accurate production logs.
Key Requirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings/schematics, proficiency in CAD software, and basic data analysis (Excel).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Often entry-level or 1–3 years in a plant or manufacturing setting.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
