Job Summary
Responsible for leading, monitoring, and maintaining all electrical systems and infrastructure, including the PV solar system, to ensure safe and continuous operation of factory facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, and perform corrective maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
- Carry out daily solar PV system checking and monitoring.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on switchboards, LV/HV systems, and related electrical equipment.
- Perform wiring, power supply installation, and minor facility work around the premises.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical breakdowns on machines and equipment.
- Supervise external contractors (including TNB) and monitor their performance on electrical works and PV system maintenance.
- Maintain all LV/HV protection circuits and ensure periodic inspection and servicing.
- Plan and organize preventive maintenance schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) and report irregularities.
- Ensure all electrical installations and practices comply with statutory and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements.
- Attend emergency incidents or major breakdowns when required.
- Support facility maintenance activities for production and hostel areas when needed.
- Ensure scheduled and non-scheduled waste are properly handled, controlled, and disposed according to environmental laws.
- Control the use of chemical substances and ensure compliance with safety and PPE standards.
- Perform other related duties as required by the management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiar with machining, repairing, and replacing machine parts.
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Able to read electrical diagrams and work independently under minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Chargeman AO certificate registered under Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in factory or building electrical maintenance.
- Experience with solar PV system maintenance is an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to work in Tampoi, Johor.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
