Contract QAQC ENGINEER (JUNIOR) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in CHEC Construction (M) Project Site Selangor - Maukerja

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QAQC Engineerto join our project team based in Kapar, Klang. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day quality control, supervision, and inspection activities forcivil, structural, and infrastructure construction works under a major national rail project.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities on-site to ensure civil, structural, and infrastructure works comply with project specifications and technical designs.

• RFI Coordination:Execute, track, and log theRequest for Inspection (RFI) process, ensuring all documentation is submitted and signed off accurately by relevant parties.

• Cross-Departmental Liaison: Coordinate inspection schedules with internal site departments (Construction, Laboratory, Procurement) to ensure smooth operational workflows.

• Quality Assurance Support:Assist the Chief Engineer’s Office in implementingInspection and Test Plans (ITP) and executing standardized quality workflows.

• Defect Rectification: Conduct routine site walks to identify workmanship issues, follow up on outstanding corrective actions, and ensure proper closure.

• Additional Duties: Provide administrative and clerical support for quality documentation and complete other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor or leader.

• Education: Candidate must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering field.

• Experience:1 to 3 yearsof hands-on experience in construction site supervision or QAQC.
  Fresh graduates who completed a comprehensive internship in infrastructure or civil construction are welcome to apply.

• Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of QAQC workflows, RFI processes, and construction checklists.

  • Ability to read and interpret structural and civil construction drawings.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF management.

• Languages:Good verbal and written communication skills inEnglishandBahasa Melayu. (Proficiency or understanding of Mandarin is a distinct advantage when coordinating with specific technical management documentation).

• Mobility: Must possess own transport and be willing to be based full-time at our project site office in Kapar, Klang.
