Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Spa Management, Beauty Therapy, Business Administration) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a beauty or spa management role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of spa operations, including service delivery, staff management, inventory control, and financial oversight.
  • Exceptional customer service and client relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse clientele.
  • Proven experience in sales management and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and upselling techniques.
  • Proficiency in staff training and development, including onboarding, performance management, and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Strong understanding of beauty treatments and wellness therapies, with the ability to guide and advise clients.
  • Experience with marketing initiatives to promote spa services and attract new customers.
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with clients and staff.
  • Ability to manage inventory effectively, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Adept at handling customer feedback and resolving issues promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to Ayu Borneo Family Wellness Centre's high standards for treatments like Urutan Malaysia, Thai Massage, and customized wellness programs.
  • Lead and motivate a team of beauty therapists and wellness practitioners, providing ongoing training, performance feedback, and fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Manage inventory of beauty and spa products, including ordering, stock control, and ensuring optimal product availability for treatments and retail sales.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, focusing on promoting services, packages, and retail products to achieve targets.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships by ensuring exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns, and actively seeking feedback to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, social media content, and local outreach initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the spa environment, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff.
  • Manage staff schedules, payroll, and HR-related administrative tasks, ensuring efficient workforce management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for staff, identifying areas for development and implementing training programs to enhance service quality and technical skills.
  • Analyze sales data and operational metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for business growth.
