Full Time Electrical Resident Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 7,500 in Habrisalam Architect Johor - Maukerja

A local company involved in a large-scale Data Center Project is inviting qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following position for our Data Center site in Johor:

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Act as the Consultant Engineer’s representative on site for all electrical-related matters.
• Ensure that all electrical works comply with the approved design drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and relevant statutory regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the contractor, consultant, and client on all electrical aspects of the project.
• Provide full-time site supervision and monitoring of all electrical installation works.
• Monitor and inspect Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved requirements.
• Supervise the installation and testing of generator sets and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
• Inspect earthing and lightning protection systems to ensure proper installation and compliance with relevant standards.
• Oversee structured cabling, data, and communication system installations.
• Supervise the installation of Low Extra Voltage (LEV) systems, including CCTV, access control systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Review contractors’ method statements, shop drawings, and material submissions for all electrical components and systems.
• Witness and verify Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for major electrical equipment.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, civil/structural, and architectural disciplines to prevent clashes, delays, and construction conflicts.
• Attend site meetings, technical coordination meetings, inspections, and site walkdowns.
• Monitor and supervise the testing and commissioning activities for all electrical systems.
• Ensure that all electrical workmanship, materials, and installations comply with contractual quality standards and relevant regulatory requirements, including those of JKR, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and CIDB.
• Identify, document, and monitor non-conformities or defects and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure that contractors comply with all safety regulations, procedures, and best practices related to electrical works.
• Maintain detailed daily site records and logbooks documenting electrical activities, inspections, and site observations.
• Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to the consultant and client.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and site instructions.
• Support integrated systems testing and the final commissioning process for all electrical systems.
• Assist in reviewing project documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, test reports, and commissioning records.
• Verify the completeness and compliance of electrical installations prior to the issuance of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and project handover.
