Requirements
SPM, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions)
Good negotiaton, communication, and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good documentation and record keeping skills
Computer skills (Microsoft office, ERP System)
Responsibilities
Responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers for the best purchase price and delivery terms.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) according to company requirements.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely purchasing of materials and supplies.
Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain proper purchasing records, documents, and filing systems.
Compare quotations and evaluate supplier performance.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, and other departments regarding material requirements.
Ensure purchased items meet quality requirements and specifications.
Handle supplier inquiries, complaints, and resolve purchasing issues.
Assist in cost reduction and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and policies.
Prepare purchasing reports as requested by management.
Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Department Head from time to time.
