About the role

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer focusing on Cooling Design, you will design the thermal backbone that keeps our systems performing at their best. You will engineer and detail industrial cooling and thermal management solutions, ensuring stable, efficient operation under demanding conditions.

From coolant circuits and heat exchangers to precise temperature control strategies, you will turn requirements into high-performance, production-ready designs. Your work ensures every system meets strict performance, safety, and manufacturability standards—driving reliability where it matters most.

Qualifications & Skills

· Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

· Experience in industrial cooling or thermal management system design

· Good understanding of pressure, flow and heat transfer fundamentals

· Hands-on experience with 3D computer-aided design tools

· Advantage to be proficient in CREO/Pro-E and ERP systems such as SAP

· Familiarity with engineering standards and safety requirements

· Structured and analytical working style with strong ownership mindset

· Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines

· Fluent English (CEFR B2)

Responsibilities

·       Design and layout cooling circuits and thermal management systems for process equipment 

·       Additionally, contribute to the broader mechanical design scope -- such as frame structures, sheet metal parts, welded constructions, and vacuum-compatible components -- from concept through production-ready documentation

·       Perform basic thermal calculations and validate performance against system requirements 

·       Apply tolerance stack-up and geometric dimensioning principles for assemblies and GD&T

·       Conduct structured problem solving and support risk assessments within own scope 

·       Optimize designs for manufacturability, assembly and cost efficiency 

·       Create and maintain clear technical drawings, specifications and change documentation 

·       Manage part structures, revisions and workflows in product lifecycle and enterprise systems 

·       Coordinate with process, manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams to ensure smooth implementation
