Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, logistics, shipping, port, terminal, or related industries. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for the Assistant position.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer relationship management and business development capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel for customer visits and business meetings.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the logistics, port, terminal, shipping, warehousing, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
Knowledge of terminal operations, cargo handling, warehousing, or project logistics.
Experience in tender preparation, contract management, or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Existing network with shipping lines, freight forwarders, importers, exporters, manufacturers, or logistics service providers will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions
Full-time position based in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Business Development Executive / Assistant is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and supporting the company's business growth initiatives. The role involves market research, client acquisition, proposal preparation, quotation follow-up, and close coordination with internal departments to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify business opportunities.
Prepare business proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender documentation.
Follow up on customer enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and contract execution.
Coordinate closely with the Operations, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to customers.
Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines, and business development reports.
Participate in client meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences to promote the company's services.
Achieve assigned business development targets and contribute to revenue growth.
Prepare periodic sales forecasts, market reports, and business performance analyses.
Ensure high standards of customer service and promptly resolve customer issues.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
