Job Description

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is preferred.

3. Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

4. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing processes.

5. Experience in leading month-end close and working with cross-functional teams.

6. Prior experience supervising or mentoring team members is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

1. Financial Reporting & Close

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, ensuring accuracy and

• timeliness.

• Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and consolidation packs.

• Drive improvements in reporting processes and closing timelines.

2. Cost & Manufacturing Finance

• Analyze manufacturing performance including material variances, labor efficiency, overhead

• absorption, and production yield.

• Monitor inventory valuation, WIP movements, and provisions for slow-moving or obsolete stock.

• Partner with Operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve margins.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.

3. Internal Controls & Compliance

• Strengthen and enforce internal controls across purchasing, inventory, and production cycles.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and audit standards.

• Lead audit processes and liaise with external auditors and tax agents.

• Identify control gaps and implement effective, sustainable solutions.

4. Business Partnering

• Act as a finance advisor to Operations and Production teams.

• Translate financial data into meaningful insights to support decision-making.

• Evaluate financial impact of operational initiatives, capex investments, and process

• improvements.

• Influence stakeholders to drive performance and accountability.

5. Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Supervise, guide, and develop junior finance team members.

• Drive automation initiatives and enhance reporting through ERP and data tools.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
