Full Time Mechanical Principal Engineer | Data Centre Jobs, Salary up to MYR 12,000 in Hunters International Johor - Maukerja

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 5 yearsof experience inmechanical design and delivery in data centre projects.

Professional Engineer status (Ir. / PE) registered with BEM is preferred.

Hands-on experience in mechanical design & site execution.

Good command of English.

Strong leadership, stakeholder negotiation, and communication skills.

Self-driven mindset with the agility to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-sequenced project environment

Design Leadership: Oversee and guide the mechanical design process specifically for mission-critical and data centre facilities.

System Coordination: Review, refine, and integrate complex HVAC, chilled water plants, mechanical ventilation, and advanced fire protection systems.

Technical Quality Control: Evaluate engineering submissions, technical blueprints, material specifications, and cross-disciplinary drawings.

Site & Commissioning Support: Provide on-site technical governance during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex engineering variations and site-specific technical bottlenecks.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical liaison between clients, external consultants, main contractors, and internal project teams.

Project Delivery: Assist with project scheduling, progress tracking, and risk management to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and professional development support to junior engineering staff.
