Full Time Facilities Manager - Hako Hotels Group Jobs, Salary up to MYR 8,000 in OTTOTREE HOTELS & RESORTS SDN BHD Johor - Maukerja

About the Role

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee the physical condition, maintenance, and operational reliability of all 7 properties under Hako Hotels Group.

This is a newly created cluster role where you will work closely with Operations teams across all sites and play a key role in improving facilities management standards across the group, including properties undergoing active defect remediation.

This role requires someone who is operationally focused, organised, and comfortable managing multiple properties and contractors simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage defect register across all properties — log, prioritise, resolve, and close
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for rooms, M&E, plumbing, and common areas
• Coordinate and manage contractors, vendors, and service providers across multiple sites
• Oversee M&E, plumbing, civil, pest control, and general maintenance works
• Establish contractor network, service standards, response timelines, and cost control measures
• Monitor safety, fire, and statutory compliance requirements across all properties
• Support capex planning, project scoping, and maintenance budgeting
• Monitor utilities and support energy efficiency initiatives
• Supervise site technicians and ensure proper follow-up on maintenance issues

Immediate Priorities (First 90 Days)

• Conduct full facilities and defect audit for all 7 properties
• Support remediation works for mould, water pressure, and fixture issues at priority sites
• Establish contractor panel and retainer agreements for M&E, plumbing, civil, and pest control
• Implement preventive maintenance SOPs for room turnaround and common areas
• Set up urgent works approval and PO workflow framework

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities, Engineering, Property Management, or related field
• Hospitality, residential, or multi-site maintenance experience preferred
• Able to read M&E drawings and prepare scope of work
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance vendors, experience with hotel groups, CBRE, JLL or similar FM environment is an advantage
• Strong organisational and follow-up skills
• Able to work independently and handle operational issues calmly
• Valid driving licence and willing to travel between properties
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
