Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma in Security, Policing, Risk Control, or equivalent.

  • 2-4 years of experience in security operations or loss prevention.

  • Experience with escort operations or CCTV/access control systems is an advantage.

  • Familiar with TAPA, RBA requirements (is an advantage).

  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

  • Physically fit, disciplined, and able to work shifts if required.

  • High integrity, alertness, and strong situational awareness.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight operations which included supervising daily security operations, enforcing access control, monitoring compliance, and supporting product or material escort activities. The Security Officer also covers Risk & Compliance Support duties, including maintaining the Risk Control Register, tracking incident trends, and ensuring audit readiness.

Responsibility and Authority

  • Lead and manage Corporate Compliance, EHS & Risk Control strategies and operations.

  • Supervise daily security operations and monitor guard performance.

  • Enforce access control, visitor pass procedures, and CCTV/alarm monitoring.

  • Conduct site patrols, perimeter checks, and report abnormalities.

  • Report and document all security incidents or non-compliances.

  • Support HV escort activities, ensuring route safety and compliance.

  • Coordinate with police or external agencies when required.

  • Maintain and update the Risk Control Register.

  • Record incident trends and prepare monthly risk reports.

  • Support coordination between Risk Control, EHS, and Compliance.

  • Track closure of security CAPA and verify evidence.

  • Ensure documentation readiness for TAPA, RBA, ISO, and customer audits.

  • Assist in internal audits, compliance checks, and vulnerability assessments.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly security performance reports.

  • Assist in briefings and training on security procedures.
