Full Time Technician, Facilities Equipment and Maintenance Jobs, in MMC Corporation Berhad Johor - Maukerja

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.

Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in an industrial, port, heavy equipment, or maintenance environment.

Knowledge of cranes, conveyors, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and mobile equipment will be an added advantage.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.

Basic computer literacy with familiarity in CMMSorRAMCO maintenance systems is preferred.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Willing to work on rotating shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency breakdown situations when required.

Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance plans, procedures, and schedules.

Conduct routine inspections, servicing, lubrication, adjustments, and condition monitoring on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Diagnose equipment defects, identify root causes, and perform necessary repairs to restore equipment availability and reliability.

Assist in troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and support emergency maintenance activities.

Complete all maintenance work within the allocated timeframe while meeting quality standards.

Monitor equipment condition and promptly report abnormalities, defects, and potential failures for early intervention.

Recommend equipment improvements, reliability enhancements, and maintenance optimization initiatives.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection findings, and work completion reports in the maintenance management system.

Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) requirements, including Permit to Work (PTW), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO),andScheduled Waste Management procedures.

Use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to safe work practices at all times.

Participate in safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations when required.

Ensure personal tools, measuring instruments, and shared maintenance tools are properly maintained and in good working condition.

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in workshops, equipment areas, and work sites.

Ensure the proper handling, storage, and accountability of maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.

Assist in monitoring contractor activities to ensure work is carried out safely, within the approved scope, and in accordance with quality requirements.

Coordinate with supervisors, planners, and operations personnel to support maintenance execution and maximize equipment availability.

Communicate maintenance progress, findings, risks, and recommendations proactively to supervisors.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, reliability programs, and technical training to enhance maintenance performance.

Support departmental objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operational excellence initiatives.
