Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or CIMA

- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant finance experience

- At least 5 years in a finance leadership role

- Experience inretail, wholesale, FMCGor other multi-outlet businesses is highly preferred

- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and cash flow management

- Experience dealing with banks and financing facilities

- Good understanding of inventory management and retail operations

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills

- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Proactive, commercially minded and results-oriented

Financial Controller

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Financial Controller to lead our finance team in a fast-growing retail and wholesale business.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, business analysis and supporting management in making sound commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting function

- Manage and develop a finance team of approximately 10 staff

- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports accurately and on time

- Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning

- Manage banking relationships, financing facilities and treasury matters

- Monitor business performance and provide meaningful financial analysis and recommendations

- Develop and track key financial and operating KPIs

- Work closely with Operations and other business units to improve profitability and efficiency

- Strengthen internal controls, finance processes and reporting systems

- Oversee inventory controls, cost management and working capital

- Ensure compliance with MFRS, taxation and statutory requirements

- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and other stakeholders
