Minimum 1 to 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience.

Experience in the construction or engineering industry is preferred.

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Good teamwork and collaboration skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to identify and resolve procurement-related issues.

Assist in procuring raw materials, components, and equipment required for construction projects and operations.

Review approved Material Requisition Orders submitted by project sites.

Verify that all required information, specifications, quantities, and approvals are complete before processing.

Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Prepare and manage purchase orders.

Ensure goods are delivered on time to meet project deadlines.

Maintain accurate inventory records.

Prepare reports on stock levels and purchasing activities.

Support the implementation of procurement policies and procedures.

Work with different departments to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Recommend improvements to procurement processes and operational efficiency.
