Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Optoelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in a production or process engineering role (preferably in optoelectronics or semiconductor manufacturing).

Familiarity with optoelectronic components and related fabrication/assembly techniques.

Understanding of ISO 9001 or ISO/TS standards and cleanroom protocols.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Fluent in Mandarin, Malay and English (written and spoken) is highly preferred.

Monitor and manage daily production activities to ensure efficiency and output targets are met.

Optimize manufacturing processes for products like LEDs, laser modules, photodetectors, or optical sensors.

Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and equipment issues.

Quality Control & Assurance: Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality meets specifications. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.

Equipment & Maintenance: Support installation, calibration, and maintenance of specialized optoelectronic manufacturing equipment (e.g., die bonders, wire bonders, reflow ovens). Ensure proper functioning of cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe practices.

Process Improvement: Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of production procedures, output data, and deviations. Assist in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and quality departments on product development and process transfer. Support pilot runs and transition from prototype to mass production.
