Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience:

• L3 level profile with 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience as an SAP HCM Payroll / SAP S/4HANA Payroll Consultant.

• Proven track record in end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Payroll systems.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors HXMandSAP HCM Payroll.

• Deep technical knowledge of SAP Payroll schemas, PCRs (rules), wage types, and payroll processing.

• Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central integration, data migration (mapping, validation, mock runs), SIT/UAT, and payroll parallel runs.

Functional & Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and requirement-gathering skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate workshops and coordinate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Integration, Technical).

• Knowledge of Malaysian local statutory regulations and payroll compliance standards.

Gather, analyze, and document payroll business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA Payroll solutions.

Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best practices aligned with business processes and design principles.

Configure and support SAP Payroll components, including payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll processing activities.

Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, and test artifacts.

Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Integration, and Technical teams to design and implement payroll solutions.

Support integrations between SAP Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems.

Participate in data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and mock conversion cycles.

Develop and execute test scenarios, support SIT/UAT, payroll parallel runs, and manage defect resolution.

Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder discussions to drive requirement alignment and solution sign-off.

Support cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-go-live hypercare support.

Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies related to payroll processes.

Ensure payroll solutions comply with business requirements, statutory regulations, and organizational standards.
