• Degree / Master in Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field.

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in production planning or manufacturing.

• Relevant working experience is an added advantage.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Executive, Planning supports strategic planning, operational efficiency, brand alignment, compliance readiness, and project execution across the Edar Life Group. This role ensures all brands operate effectively, meet KPIs, and deliver consistent customer experience through research, data analysis, SOP development, branding coordination, and structured project management.

A. Strategic & Business Planning

·    To assist Head of Department on Strategic & Business Planning.

·    Prepare quarterly performance review reports (actual vs target).

·    Conduct market studies for expansion opportunities for Edarcafe, Edarmart & Edar Products.

·    Support feasibility studies for central kitchen, new branches, menu rollout & any industry insights to support department decision-making.

B. Operational Planning

·    Draft, update, and maintain SOPs for operations, production, compliance, and retail workflows.

·    Coordinate manpower planning with HR and Operations.

·    Prepare demand forecasting reports for procurement, production, and inventory management.

·    Maintain internal trackers, databases, and planning templates (Google Sheets, dashboards, project logs).

C. Business Performance Monitoring

·    Develop and update KPI dashboards covering sales, customer footfall, product performance, cost efficiency, and compliance progress.

·    Track monthly performance for each branch and highlight improvement points.

·    Conduct and document monthly branch audits (café, mart, product).

·    Provide insights, recommendations, and follow-up action plans for management.

D. Branding & Communication (Support)

·    Coordinate brand asset updates (menu, uniform, signage, packaging, store visuals).

·    Standardize visual identity across all brands and ensure branding compliance at outlets.

·    Liaise with vendors for design, printing, uniform production, and marketing materials.

·    Support internal communication on new rollouts, SOP changes, and project updates.

E. Compliance & Documentation

·    Prepare supporting documents for Halal, MESTI, ISO, and internal audits.

·    Manage document flow with Purchasing, Warehouse, Kitchen/Production, and Compliance teams.

·    Maintain document archives (Halal certs, supplier docs, packaging approvals, product spec sheets).

·    Ensure all product and packaging changes follow compliance requirements.

F. Project Management

·    Support end-to-end project coordination for:

• Central Kitchen setup

• Edar Café Operation

• Edarmart renovation/expansion

• Halal certification initiatives

• ISO, MESTI, and other compliance projects

·   Prepare project timelines, Gantt charts, progress trackers, and follow-up reports.

·   Monitor project budgets, resources, and deliverables.

·   Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely execution.

G. Perform any other related task/function/responsibility that may be assigned by the Management/Company from time to time.
