• Degree in a relevant discipline and/ or a professional qualification (e.g. ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA/MICPA/CPA Aust./MBA).

• Membership in professional bodies and MIA will be an added advantage.

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of audit experience are encouraged to apply.

• Required language(s): English,

• Good technical knowledge in MFRS and MPERS as well as International Auditing Standards (ISAs)

• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent management and leadership skills.

• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints, budget, and deadlines.

• Able to work independently and under pressure.

• Team players who are also able to work independently with minimum supervision.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in planning and executing audit assignments for a portfolio of diversified clients, SME and PLC.

• Prepare audit working papers in compliance with relevant standards and by-laws.

• Perform audit procedures including testing of transactions, account balances, and internal controls.

• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and financial statements.

• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and documentation.

• Identify and report audit findings and potential issues to supervisors.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of audit work papers.

• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within budget and deadlines.

• Stay updated with changes in accounting and auditing standards.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
