Full Time Mechanical Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 + bonus in Lifework HR Services Selangor - Maukerja

Contract Term: Yearly renewable basis / convert (due to the company is from SG based)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 8am – 530pm

Work Office Location: MKH Boulevard Kajang

Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline, or Technical College holders with relevant working experiences

• Ability to interpret engineering drawingsand carry out drafting or3D modelling work

• Possesses good knowledge of machining processes and technologies

• Languages Skills: Bilingual in English, Mandarin (as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients)

• Proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, NX, CATIA and GD&T

• Experience with CNC machining and machine measurement will be advantageous

• Possesses good project management and coordination skills

• Mature, organized, meticulous, task-oriented and able to handle tasks independently. Must be a team player

• Good communications skills

• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner

• Possess own transportation.

Job Responsibilities:

• To prepare production drawings by 2D drafting or 3D modelling using CAD software for design and build to print jobs

• To carry out manufacturing process planning using ERP

• Prepare Bill of Material from customer drawings or in-house designs

• Provide technical support during fabrication phase in areas of machining, welding and assembly

• Provide technical support for outsourced parts

• Collaborate with cross functions to ensure on time delivery, quality and cost goals are met

• Participate in continuous improvement projects as part of the lean manufacturing transformation

• To use engineering tools to test and implement efficiencies in quality, manufacturing, assembly and testing

• To provide customer support/liaise/coordinate/follow-up with external customers on assigned projects

• To monitor project deliverables

• To facilitate collection of customer requirements during RFQ stage for design projects
