Contract Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,600 + overtime in Ecos Link Solutions Selangor - Maukerja

Job Purpose

To execute site-based installation, servicing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CEMS, gas, dust, and Oil & Gas–related analyzer systems in a safe, accurate, and disciplined manner.

The Instrument Specialist plays a critical execution role, ensuring site work is completed efficiently, documented properly, and aligned with company standards, regulatory requirements, and operational discipline.

1. Site Execution & Technical Support

• Perform installation, servicing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance works for:

o CEMS analyzers (gas, dust, opacity, tribo, MIR, etc.)

o Gas analyzers (O₂, dewpoint, moisture)

o Oil & Gas–related analyzers and systems (onshore & offshore exposure)

• Follow approved work scope, method statements, and site procedures.

• Support Service Engineers during FAT, SAT, commissioning, and complex troubleshooting.

• Ensure all work is executed safely, accurately, and in compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

2. Daily Site Update & Reporting (Mandatory)

• Post daily site updates for every site visit:

o On the same day, or

o Latest by the following working day

• Daily updates must clearly state:

o Site name

o Work performed

o Issues encountered (if any)

o Job status (completed / ongoing / pending)

• Prepare and submit required reports accurately and on time, including:

o Service Reports

o Calibration Reports

o Site Visit Reports

o Installation / FAT / SAT-related records

• Ensure reports are properly uploaded and submitted according to company procedure.

3. Attendance, Discipline & OT Compliance

• Clock in and clock out daily using Worksy:

o Office work

o Site work

o Travel days

• Attendance records must be accurate and punctual, with no manual correction unless:

o A valid reason is provided, and

o Approval is obtained from the reporting superior.

• Apply OT in Worksy on the same day OT is performed.• OT approval is subject to:

o Proper attendance

o Daily site update submission

o Completion of required reports

• Failure to comply may result in OT rejection and performance impact.

4. Tools, Equipment & Vehicle Responsibility

• Use company tools, instruments, and vehicles responsibly.

• Participate in toolbox checks and ensure:

o Tools are in good condition

o Equipment is returned, stored, and handled properly

• Maintain cleanliness of:

o Tools

o Workshop area

o Company vehicles

• Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment immediately.

5. Safety, HSE & Site Readiness

• Comply strictly with all HSE requirements, including:

o PTW

o JSA / JHA

o Toolbox talks

• Maintain valid certifications as required (e.g. CIDB, OGSP, WAH, medical).

• Follow site rules and represent the company professionally at all times.

6. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with:

o Service Engineers

o Project Engineers

o Assistant Project & Service Manager

o Customer Service team

• Follow task assignments and schedules provided.

• Be open to learning new products, systems, and procedures.

• Support junior technicians, interns, or new joiners when assigned.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic to intermediate understanding of:

o CEMS systems

o Gas & dust analyzers

o Industrial instrumentation

• Ability to follow procedures, drawings, and instructions accurately.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and products.

• Strong discipline in reporting, attendance, and documentation.• Physically fit and able to work on-site, including offshore when required.
