We’re Hiring: Service Advisor / Automotive Technician

Industry: Automotive / Car Dealership

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor / Automotive Technicianto join our growing automotive dealership team. Candidates with strong automotive industry experience andPHEV vehicle maintenance knowledge are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements

• Min 3–5 years of relevant automotive industry experience.

• Experience as a Service Advisor or Automotive Technician in a car dealership/workshop environment.

• PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) servicing and maintenance experience is highly preferred.

• Good knowledge of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repair and maintenance.

• Advanced Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and/or technical teams.

• Good communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn new automotive technologies.

• Possess a valid driving licence.

Key Responsibilities – Service Advisor

• Receive customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.

• Conduct vehicle inspections and explain service/repair recommendations to customers.

• Prepare service quotations and job orders.

• Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed properly and on time.

• Provide customers with regular updates on repair progress.

• Explain completed repairs and maintenance to customers.

• Follow up with customers after servicing to ensure satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate service records and customer information.

Key Responsibilities – Automotive Technician

• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle issues.

• Carry out preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.

• Perform PHEV-related inspection, servicing and maintenance.

• Conduct vehicle diagnostics using appropriate diagnostic equipment.

• Ensure all repairs meet company and manufacturer quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Report technical issues and repair findings to the Service Manager.
