Position Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to a public listed entity. The role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information to support strategic decision-making, stakeholder reporting, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee a full spectrum of finance functions, including group finance, credit control, treasury, accounts, budgeting/forecasting, taxation, insurance, legal, company secretarial management.

2. Quarterly announcement and reporting to Bursa Malaysia.

3. Supervise and monitor subordinate daily routine job function.

4. Liaise with tax agents, solicitors, bankers, auditors and others statutory bodies.

5. Ensure daily operations in Finance Department are carried out smoothly to meet all reporting deadline.

6. Preparation of accurate and timely Management Reports and Financial Statements in accordance with statutory requirements.

7. Ongoing review cost, proposal, evaluation of cost reduction opportunities.

8. Support and manage internal and external audit requirement including ensuring timely resolution for audit findings and comments.

9. Administration of Auto Count System.
