Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification

Previous cashier or customer service experience is an advantage

Basic mathematics and cash-handling skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to operate a POS/cash register system

Honest, responsible, and attentive to detail

Friendly and customer-oriented

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Good attendance and punctuality

Basic computer skills are an advantage

Greeting customers and providing friendly service

Processing cash, card, and digital payments accurately

Operating the cash register/POS system

Issuing receipts and handling refunds or exchanges

Counting and balancing cash at the beginning and end of shifts

Checking prices, discounts, and promotions

Assisting customers with basic product or store enquiries

Keeping the checkout area clean and organized

Monitoring and reporting any cash discrepancies

Following company policies and procedures

Assisting with stocking or other store duties when required

Maintaining good customer service and handling complaints professionally
