Operations Assistant / Interns

Megoride is a fast-growing hourly motorcycle rental startup in Singapore — and we're gearing up for bigger things. We're looking for an Operations Assistant to join us, and we're just as excited to welcome interns who want real, hands-on startup experience.

Who We Are

Megoride isn't your typical rental company — we're a scrappy, fast-moving startup on a mission to make two-wheeled transport smarter, greener, and way more convenient for the everyday rider in Singapore. Think of us as the Uber of motorcycles, minus the suits and the red tape.

We're growing fast, with our fleet expanding and more carpark locations popping up around the island — and we're gearing up for our next big leap: going fully electric, then taking that playbook across Southeast Asia. If you like being part of a story from Chapter 1 instead of Chapter 50 — whether you're job-hunting or just looking for a meaningful internship — you're going to like it here.

The Role

We're on the hunt for an Operations Assistant — part fleet guardian, part problem-solver, part roadside hero. This role sits at the heart of everything that keeps our bikes on the road and our riders happy. You'll be the person who notices a loose mirror before a customer does, the one who knows exactly which workshop to call when a bike needs attention, and the one keeping tabs on every inspection date and insurance renewal so nothing slips through the cracks.

This is a startup role through and through: no rigid 9-to-5, no stiff hierarchy, no "that's not my job." Timing is free and easy — what matters is that the bikes are road-ready and the operations run smoothly. Open to full-timers and interns alike — if you like variety, ownership, and being trusted to just get things done, read on.

What You'll Be Doing

• Fleet care — perform simple repairs and routine checks on our XMAX 300s (tyres, brakes, minor fixes) to keep every bike safe and ready to ride
• Workshop & tow coordination — be the go-to liaison with motorcycle workshops and tow truck operators when a bike needs more than a quick fix
• Inspections & compliance — send bikes for LTA inspections on schedule, and track upcoming inspection dates so nothing's ever overdue
• Insurance tracking — monitor insurance expiry dates across the fleet and flag renewals well ahead of time
• Fleet deployment — help relocate, clean, and prep bikes at carpark locations around Singapore
• General operations support — jump in wherever needed, from troubleshooting app/booking issues to supporting ad-hoc projects as we scale
• Startup hustle — wear multiple hats, suggest better ways of doing things, and help build the operational playbook as we grow

What We're Looking For

• A valid Class 2A motorcycle licence (you ride or at least know your way around a bike)
• Basic motorcycle mechanical know-how, or a genuine willingness to learn — you're comfortable with simple repairs and spotting issues early
• Organised and detail-oriented — inspection dates and insurance expiries don't manage themselves
• A self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and flexible hours — startup life means the day doesn't always look the same
• Good communication skills for liaising with workshops, tow operators, and the team
• A genuine interest in sustainability, mobility, or the EV space is a big plus
• Students and interns welcome — no prior "operations" title needed; attitude and hustle matter more than a fancy resume

Why You'll Love It Here

• Free and easy timing — no clock-punching culture, just clear expectations and trust
• Real ownership — your work directly keeps the fleet running; you'll see the impact every single day
• Front-row seat to our EV journey — be part of the team as we transition from petrol to electric, and eventually scale across Southeast Asia
• Flat, founder-accessible team — no bureaucracy, direct access to decision-makers, and your ideas actually get heard
• Room to grow — as Megoride scales, so does the scope of this role (and the opportunities that come with it)
• A mission that matters — be part of a company genuinely working toward social and environmental impact, not just saying it

How to Apply

Think you've got the hustle, the hands-on skills, and the heart for a good mission? We'd love to hear from you.
