Company Overview

We are a MUIS Halal-certified food manufacturing company operating a central kitchen in Singapore. We are committed to producing high-quality Halal food products while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards. We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our central kitchen team.

Job Summary

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to company recipes and production schedules while ensuring compliance with Halal, food safety, and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to company recipes and production requirements.
• Assist in bulk food preparation for daily production.
• Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Follow MUIS Halal requirements during food preparation and handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and production areas.
• Follow food safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with inventory checks and report stock shortages.
• Work with the production team to meet daily production targets.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen or central kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Other Information

• Salary: SGD 3,600–4,500 (depending on qualifications and experience)
• Working Days: 6 days per week
• Work Location: Central Kitchen
