Roles & Responsibilities

As Associate, Full-Stack Engineering, you will build, test and support web applications as part of a small team. This role suits engineers who want broad hands-on experience across the frontend, backend and database.

• Application development: Build features across the frontend, backend and database, translating requirements, particularly those of the audit department, into working software. Deliver assigned tasks to agreed timelines and quality expectations.
• Engineering practices: Write secure, tested and well-documented code, and take part in code reviews. Follow the team's templates, conventions and quality controls, and use AI-assisted development tools responsibly.
• APIs, data and platform: Develop APIs and data models, and deploy applications to the firm's central application platform using its CI/CD pipelines. Work with AI engineers to integrate AI services into applications.
• Data security and confidentiality: Apply access controls and handle client data in line with the firm's data security and client-data confidentiality requirements.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work with business users and project sponsors to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, and support user testing, implementation and adoption.
• Application support: Document, monitor and maintain applications after go-live, and investigate and resolve production issues, escalating where needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Around 1–3 years of software engineering experience; fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic or personal projects are also welcome to apply.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python (preferably Django or FastAPI), and JavaScript or TypeScript (preferably React or Next.js).
• Experience, through work or projects, building web applications and APIs backed by relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git, testing and secure coding practices; exposure to containerisation (e.g. Docker), cloud services and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Interest in delivering technology solutions in professional services, audit or another regulated environment is an advantage.
