About the Role
We are a specialized advisory and digital transformation firm focused exclusively on the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector. We are seeking a Consultant to bridge the gap between clinical/biological science and enterprise technology. In this role, you will not merely write code or slide decks; you will translate complex biopharma R&D, manufacturing, or commercial challenges into actionable technical and digital strategies for our clients.
This is a client-facing role requiring a firm grasp of the life sciences value chain and a pragmatic understanding of how data and digital tools (e.g., AI/ML, cloud platforms, RPA) solve specific industry bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Domain-Led Consulting: Partner with client stakeholders in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, or Commercial teams to map out current-state business processes and identify digital intervention points.
- Digital Strategy & Requirements: Author business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications for digital solutions (e.g., CTMS, RIM, LIMS, or commercial CRM/analytics platforms). Ensure solutions comply with GxP and data integrity standards (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR/PDPA).
- Technical Translation: Act as the “interpreter” between client scientific teams and our internal engineering/development teams. Ensure that technical deliverables (e.g., data pipelines, dashboards, automation scripts) meet the scientific and regulatory intent.
- Transformation Delivery: Support the end-to-end delivery of digital pilots and rollouts. This includes gap analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination, and change management support for end-users transitioning to new systems.
- Business Development Support: Contribute domain expertise to proposal writing and client presentations. Identify opportunities for account expansion based on client digital maturity gaps.
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering) or a related scientific discipline. A dual background (Science + Information Systems/Business) is highly advantageous.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience working within a pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or life-sciences-focused consulting/IT services environment.
- Regulatory Fluency: Demonstrated understanding of GxP, CSV (Computer System Validation), or clinical trial processes. You must understand why compliance matters, not just the buzzwords.
- Analytical & Technical Literacy: Comfortable working with data. Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced), or a visualization tool (Tableau/Power BI) is expected for scoping and QA purposes. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you must understand data structures and system integration concepts (API, ETL).
What We Offer
- Specialized Focus: You will not be a generalist consultant. You will build deep domain expertise at the intersection of biology and bytes.
- Professional Development: Sponsored certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS/Azure fundamentals, ICH-GCP refresher, or project management).
- Flexible Work: Hybrid arrangement (typically 2–3 days in the office/client site, with the remainder remote), subject to client project requirements.
- Compensation: Fixed monthly salary (EP/S Pass qualifying salary compliant) + performance bonus + medical insurance.
Pay: $5,000.00 - $15,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Additional leave
- Dental insurance
- Flexible schedule
- Health insurance
- Vision insurance
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Singapore (Singapore)
