Full Time Cloud Engineer (12-Month Contract) – Hedge Fund Jobs, in Charterhouse Partnership - Maukerja

Our client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience across Windows Administration, Microsoft Intune, and the Microsoft 365 technology stack. The successful candidate will support the firm’s cloud workplace and end-user computing environment, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient delivery of Microsoft infrastructure services.

The ideal candidate would have started their career as a Windows Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer and progressively expanded their expertise into Azure cloud services, endpoint management, identity, and modern workplace technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise Windows Server environments, including administration, troubleshooting, and operational improvements.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity services.
• Support Microsoft 365 services, including configuration, administration, and operational support.
• Manage Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions, including device enrolment, configuration policies, compliance, and security controls.
• Support identity and access management platforms, including user access, authentication, and security policies.
• Assist with Azure infrastructure operations and cloud-related initiatives.
• Support endpoint security initiatives, including device compliance, security baselines, and Microsoft Defender capabilities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and end-user computing issues across Microsoft environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on cloud workplace transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to automation and process improvements across workplace and cloud operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Strong hands-on experience in Windows Administration and Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Experience managing:
• Windows Server environments
• Active Directory and Group Policy
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
• Identity and access management platforms
• Foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and Endpoint Security.
• Familiarity with device management, compliance policies, and modern workplace solutions.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) would be highly advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to support enterprise production environments.
• Experience working in a financial services, hedge fund, or other regulated environment would be beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Experience supporting hybrid environments across on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
