Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across strategic enterprise accounts and expand relationships with merchants. The role combines consultative enterprise sales, account management and commercial execution, with a strong focus on payments and technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts and managing complex sales cycles across regional markets.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own assigned revenue and sales targets and develop account plans to achieve and exceed business objectives.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and account growth plans across existing and prospective enterprise accounts.
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead qualification, opportunity development, forecasting, negotiation and closure.
• Conduct regular business and performance reviews with key accounts to identify cross-selling, up-selling and account expansion opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients, senior decision-makers, executives and key stakeholders.
• Develop new business opportunities and leverage existing merchant relationships to expand the client portfolio.
• Proactively address merchant and key-account issues, ensuring timely resolution and a high standard of client service.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and business proposals to senior executives and C-suite stakeholders, particularly within the airline, travel, hospitality and retail sectors.
• Apply a consultative and solution-led sales approach to understand client requirements and demonstrate the value of payment solutions.
• Monitor sales pipeline, revenue and account performance, providing regular monthly and quarterly updates to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Finance teams to develop commercially viable solutions and support successful client implementation and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of enterprise sales or business development experience within payments, fintech, software or a closely related technology environment.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets and acquiring and managing strategic enterprise accounts.
• Established relationships with enterprise clients or merchants that can be leveraged for business development.
• Strong experience in consultative selling, commercial negotiation and managing complex regional sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of payment flows, acquiring and issuing systems, and risk and fraud frameworks.
• Familiarity with key payment concepts and protocols, including tokenization, 3-D Secure (3DS), settlement and reconciliation.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
