The Food Processing Technician is responsible for operating and monitoring seafood processing equipment and ensuring that products are processed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor seafood processing and packing equipment.
• Prepare, process, weigh, and pack seafood products.
• Monitor processing temperatures, quantities, and product quality.
• Perform basic equipment checks and report faults or abnormalities.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of processing areas, equipment, and tools.
• Record production, quality, and processing information accurately.
• Assist with inventory, cold storage, and stock handling.
• Support quality control and product traceability requirements.
• Follow production schedules and instructions from supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food or seafood processing is preferred.
• Technical knowledge of food processing equipment is an advantage.
• Able to work in a cold and wet processing environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work as part of a team.
• Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious.
