The Role

The role of Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance, functionality, and operational readiness of all club facilities. This role oversees preventive maintenance programmes, vendor coordination, procurement of facilities-related requirements, and the upkeep of physical assets to ensure a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment for members, guests, and staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and external service providers to maintain club standards while supporting facilities operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day club operations, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for members and guests across all areas, while maintaining strong operational and service standards.
  • Lead the planning and execution of private functions, member events, themed parties, and club-wide activations, including logistics, setup, décor, entertainment, AV, guest flow, and on-the-day operations.
  • Coordinate closely across F&B, Membership, Programming, Events, and other departments to ensure clear communication, effective resource planning, and smooth execution of daily operations and events.
  • Drive member experience and operational excellence through a strong floor presence, proactively anticipating and resolving issues, supporting staff, and continuously identifying opportunities to improve the club experience.
  • Oversee facilities, operational systems, AV requirements, and external vendors, including sourcing competitive quotes, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring services are delivered to the required standards and best terms.
  • Oversee new operational projects and spaces, including sourcing materials, coordinating contractors, and managing execution from planning through completion. Oversee podcast room operations and coordinate closely with the operating partner.
  • Support live entertainment and after-hours activations, including DJs, bands, and performers, ensuring appropriate technical and operational support is in place.
  • Lead and support the operations team, fostering accountability, teamwork, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to operations and member service.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B, hospitality, or club operations, with strong organisational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence and willingness to engage effectively with members, staff, management, contractors, and external vendors.
  • Basic AV knowledge and technical skills, with the ability to support and troubleshoot basic event AV requirements.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and sourcing, with a focus on securing competitive pricing and favourable commercial terms.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Hospitality Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, hospitality, or a related environment.
  • Strong vendor management and procurement coordination skills
  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
