The Role

Taking ownership of a broad finance remit in a dynamic payments environment:

• Lead and manage the finance team across accounting, management reporting, credit and treasury functions
• Oversee accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts in line with MFRS
• Support performance reviews, cash flow planning, budgeting and board-level financial reporting
• Review daily settlement reports with merchants and card scheme partners
• Contribute to new product discussions, providing financial risk and accounting control input
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for annual audit and corporate tax compliance

What We're Looking For

A technically strong finance professional with a passion for the payments space:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent; MIA membership or finalist status with MICPA, CIMA or ACCA
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
• Prior experience in the payment or fintech industry is essential
• Sound knowledge of MFRS, IFRS and Malaysian tax regulations
• Familiarity with UBS or similar accounting software
• Meticulous, commercially aware and a strong communicator
