Responsibilities and Authorities

Costing/ Quotation/ Tender Documents

• Prepare project bill of quantity, costing, quotation/ tender documents to customers according to instruction given by Commercial Manager.
• Track changes to the design and/ or renovation works and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
• Monitor project work done to ensure work is within project costing.
• Understanding the tender requirements and drawing

Performance Management:

• Execute all tasks given and responsible for work performance.
• Prepare and submit performance management reports to Commercial Manager.
• Identify areas of improvement based on the performance management report.

Quality Management System:

• Implement company policy and departmental standard operating procedures.
• Implement improvement in Commercial and QS department.
• Support other internal customers in operations to ensure products and services meet customer and other interested parties’ requirements.
• Proper document and record keeping in Commercial and QS department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.

Experience

• For senior roles: Candidates should possess 5–7 years of proven experience in a similar or construction-related industry.
• For junior roles: At least 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methodologies and cost control techniques.
• Excellent numerical and financial management skills as well as exceptional communication and negotiation skills are highly a plus.
• Able to work independently under stress, supervise and communicate
• Able to handle pre & post tendering works, quotation, contract, administration of projects in execution, purchasing and preparing progress claim.
• Strong communication and Interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with consultants & contractors.
