Hiring: Core Applications – LifeAsia/Life400 | Insurance Technology
We are looking for an experienced Core Applications / Life Insurance Technology professional with strong hands-on expertise in LifeAsia/Life400 and COBOL/400.
Location: Singapore
Experience: 5+ Years
Industry: Life Insurance / Financial Services
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for product launches, post-launch enhancements, customer acquisition and policy servicing solutions.
- Work on Core Applications (LifeAsia/Life400), underwriting engines, CCM, workflow and middleware integrations.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Leads and technical teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
- Lead assigned technical tasks and projects from design through delivery.
- Support integration between core policy administration systems and web/mobile applications.
- Contribute to Policy Administration System architecture, technical design and best practices.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure delivery within agreed timelines and maintain strong release/deployment practices.
Mandatory Requirements
5+ years of Insurance/Financial Services experience
5+ years of experience supporting Core Policy Administration systems
Strong hands-on experience with LifeAsia / Life400
5+ years of COBOL/400 programming
Deep understanding of Life Insurance Policy Administration
Experience with middleware / omnichannel integration
Knowledge of underwriting engines, workflow and frontend/mobile applications
Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning and deployment methodologies
Strong technical communication and stakeholder management skills
Ideal Profile: A senior LifeAsia/Life400 + COBOL/400 professional who combines strong technical expertise with deep Life Insurance domain knowledge and the ability to lead technical delivery.
