Intern, Group Strategy (Jan to Jun 2027) jobs in Mapletree - Maukerja

You will be part of the Mapletree Internship Programme under the Group Strategy team working full-time from January 2027 to June 2027.

Support the Group Strategy team in shaping the Group’s investment strategy and portfolio direction through strategic research, market analysis and project work. The internship offers hands-on exposure to the evaluation of new markets, sectors, platforms as well as development of strategic insights and recommendation for management across the Group.

Job Responsibilities

• Strategic research and insights: Support the team in gathering and analysing data on markets, sectors, competitors and emerging themes to inform the Group’s strategic priorities.
• Product origination and conceptualization: Support the development of new public and private real estate vehicles, including their investment thesis, portfolio composition, financial analysis and exit considerations.
• Platform and valuation analysis: Support the evaluation of platforms that complement the Group’s strategic priorities through market research, peer benchmarking and due diligence.
• Portfolio analysis: Develop analytics dashboards at portfolio level to identify portfolio-level trends and insights.
• Strategic projects and management materials: Support cross-business unit strategic projects and prepare analysis, presentation materials and briefing notes for management discussions.

Job Requirements

• Current undergraduates pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or a related field.
• Strong academic record, with an interest in strategy, investments, or real estate; relevant internships, case competitions, or projects are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and research skills; high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage
