Job Description

  • Develop and maintain Java backend applications to support business systems.
  • Write clear, reliable code that meets agreed technical requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve backend application issues to maintain system performance.
  • Work with Technology colleagues to deliver planned application changes.
  • Review existing backend code and make practical improvements where needed.
  • Test Java applications before release to help maintain dependable system operation.
  • Document technical changes clearly to support ongoing application maintenance.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful 'Java Backend Developer' Should Have

  • Experience developing backend applications using Java. Key skill-Core Java 8+ and JUnit , Spring Boot
  • Strong computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design).
  • TDD. Able to write acceptance test..
  • Java Messaging Concepts. (JMS, MQ).
  • Experience working with technical colleagues on application delivery.
  • Ability to document technical work clearly and accurately.
