Job Description
Responsibilities
The Construction HR Officer supports the workforce needs of the company’s construction projects. The role handles recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, and employee support for office and site-based staff, while coordinating with project managers and site supervisors.
Key responsibilities
Recruit and onboard construction workers, site supervisors, engineers, and office staff.
Coordinate worker deployment
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, certifications, and work eligibility documents.
Track attendance, leave, overtime, and timesheets; coordinate payroll information with the payroll team.
Support employee relations by responding to staff concerns and helping resolve workplace issues.
Coordinate inductions and required training with site teams, including safety training.
Work with project managers and site supervisors to forecast staffing needs.
Prepare HR reports on headcount, vacancies, attendance, and turnover.
Handle HR information confidentially and follow company policies and applicable employment requirements.
