Job Scope

As a Kitchen Assistant at GYG, you’ll support the kitchen team in preparing fresh ingredients and keeping the kitchen running smoothly.

You’ll be hands-on throughout the day, helping with food preparation, keeping your station clean and organised, and supporting the team during busy service periods.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing ingredients and assisting with basic food preparation
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Keeping ingredients and kitchen stations well-stocke
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Cleaning and organising kitchen equipment and work areas
• Assisting the team across different kitchen tasks when required
