Full Time UAT Tester (SG Ops) Jobs, in CIMB Federal Territory - Maukerja

Job Purpose

We are seeking a UAT Tester to support SG digital team. In this role, you are responsible for executing User Acceptance Testing and Business Verification Testing across digital and technology initiatives, ensuring system enhancements and digital journeys meet business, operational, and regulatory requirements before go-live. In addition, if being tasked as a test lead, to provide leadership, strategic planning, and oversight of UAT testers and business users.

Key responsibilities

1. Review BRDs, FSDs, and process flows to derive full test coverage.
2. Develop UAT test scenarios, cases, and test data including positive, negative, and exception scenarios.
3. Execute test cases, document results, and log defects clearly.
4. Identify, log and track defects with detailed documentation and evidence.
5. Work with IT to resolve any errors detected.
6. Support retesting, regression testing and ensure readiness for go‑live.
7. Share UAT evidence to Project Owners for review and clearance.
8. Maintain complete UAT evidence for audit and compliance.
9. Ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and operational standards
10. Provide timely test progress updates and raise issues proactively.
11. Collaborate with Project Owners, IT, Vendors, PMO and any other related stakeholders.
12. Engage in discussions with Project Owners, Project Managers, IT and vendors.
13. To double up as test lead when tasked by Project Managers.
14. Able to support testing after office hours, weekends and/or Public Holidays.
15. Support Business Verifications testing for example but not limited to validating results from internet banking using production test cards.
16. Ensures production stability by identifying defects before deployment.
17. Supports regulatory and audit compliance through complete test documentation.
18. Contributes to on-time project delivery via accurate test execution.
19. Ensure SLA met.

What we're looking for

1. Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
2. Strong hands-on experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the banking domain.
3. Proven testing experience across both Consumer Banking and Commercial Banking functions.
4. Experience testing end-to-end banking workflows and business processes.
5. Familiarity with testing Internet Banking / Digital Banking platforms.
6. Experience in testing Fraud Management / Fraud Detection Systems.
7. Exposure to Credit Card and Loan/Lending products.
8. Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements.
9. Able to create, execute, and manage UAT test scenarios, test cases, and defect tracking
10. We have both permanent and contract role to be offered.
