Manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll processing (SQL Payroll experience preferred), and benefits administration for a team of 21 employees.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regulations, updating HR policies and procedures as needed.

Develop and implement operational strategies to support the smooth running of multiple apparel stores, focusing on inventory management, visual merchandising standards, and customer service excellence.

Act as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.

Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and foster a positive work environment.

Collaborate with management to support talent acquisition and retention initiatives, leveraging a detail-oriented approach.

Leverage Mandarin language proficiency to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and customer base, contributing to enhanced localization efforts.

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Assist in the development and execution of training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

Contribute to the overall strategic goals of the company by aligning HR and operational functions with business objectives.

Manage the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and offboarding for a team of 21 employees.

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regulations, ensuring fair and consistent application across the organization.

Oversee daily office operations, including facilities management, vendor relations, procurement of supplies, and ensuring a productive and safe work environment.

Administer payroll processing using SQL Payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of salary payments, statutory contributions, and employee reimbursements.

Serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll, providing clear and concise information and support.

Assist in the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and team-building activities to foster a positive company culture.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational policies.

Support the management team with HR-related reporting, data analysis, and ad-hoc projects as required, leveraging strong detail-oriented skills.

Utilize Mandarin language skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, partners, or employees who may prefer or require communication in Mandarin.

Contribute to operational efficiency by identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
