Job Description – M&E Coordinator

Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia | Site-based

Hospital Project - Immediate Joining

Working Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced M&E Coordinator to coordinate mechanical and electrical services for a hospital construction project. The successful candidate will ensure that M&E installations comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and construction schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical works, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and related building services.
• Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, civil, and M&E teams to resolve site clashes and technical issues.
• Monitor site installation progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team.
• Monitor quality, safety, progress, and rectification works.
• Prepare site reports and coordinate inspections, testing records, and as-built drawings.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or a related engineering discipline.
• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant M&E coordination experience.
• Hospital or healthcare construction experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction drawings, and site coordination.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
