Full Time Finance Executive (Accounts Payable) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,500 in Hextar Retail Berhad Selangor - Maukerja

About us:

Hextar Retail Berhad runs F&B brands including TamJai Mixian, GOPIZZA, Ayam & Rice and Palgakdo, along with convenience stores and Finesse Moulding, our picture frame manufacturer. We are looking for a Finance Executive / Senior Executive to manage our Accounts Payable.

What we are looking for:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• 1 to 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or accounting

• Good knowledge of basic accounting and AP processes

• Good with Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Careful and accurate, with good attention to detail

• Good communication, organisation and follow-up skills

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

• Experience in F&B, retail or multi-outlet businesses is an advantage

Working Hours:

7.5 hours a day, 5 days a week

What you will do:

• Process and record supplier invoices, credit notes and debit notes

• Check that invoices and supporting documents are correct and properly approved

• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding items

• Prepare payment vouchers and payment schedules for suppliers and other payments

• Make sure all payments are accurate and made on time

• Keep supplier records and AP documents up to date

• Follow up on outstanding invoices and payment issues

• Help with month-end closing, including AP reconciliation and accruals

• Apply the correct account codes, cost centres and tax treatment

• Work with suppliers and internal departments to sort out invoice differences

• Provide AP documents for audit and tax purposes

• Follow company finance policies and internal controls

• Handle other finance and accounting duties as assigned
