Overview
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position)
The candidate is to perform all GL tasks and making sure we uphold all deadlines and KPI stipulated in Service Partnership Agreement.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
N/A
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The candidate is to maintain good relationship with Country Finance in charge, to organize monthly call with Country Finance to align all understanding, and resolve all differences in the book.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: List the expectations for each job responsibility including quality and quantity standards to which the incumbent is required to perform and receive a rating for during the Performance Appraisal.

- Responsible for full scale of GL processes and procedures as specified under Service Partnership Agreement
- To ensure month/quarter/year end closing activities are met given with tight datelines.
- Preparation of journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis
- Perform inter-companies reconciliation, inter-companies billings and inter-companies netting and payment
- Coordinate pre/post closing call between GBS Team and Country Finance for solving variances and issues.
- Assist Country Finance on providing data for external statutory audit and tax.
- Assist in maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
- Other adhoc tasks as required by Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Skills/Education/Experience:
Skills
- Well-versed in computer applications such as MS Office Applications
- Proficiency in accounting software- Oracle and One Stream is added advantage
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and awareness of cross-cultural issues.
- Mature and ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision
- Highly independent with sense of urgency, responsibility, result oriented and committed to meet datelines
- Min 1 year working experience
- Exposure in GBS/SSC industry is added advantage
- Experience working with team located geographically
- At least Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
