Our client is a global logistics and supply chain company with an established international network across Asia, Europe, and North America.

As part of its continued growth in Southeast Asia, the company is seeking a Regional Director (Freight Forwarding Department) to lead and expand its Singapore and Malaysia business.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility across commercial growth, operations, P&L, customer relationships, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Singapore and Malaysia business and drive sustainable growth.
• Develop and execute commercial and sales strategies across Air & Ocean Freight.
• Drive new business development and expand key customer relationships.
• Own budgets, forecasts, revenue, margins, and overall P&L performance.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, service quality, productivity, and cost control.
• Build and develop a high-performing local team.
• Manage relationships with key customers, carriers, agents, and strategic partners.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and market presence.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and global company standards.
• Work closely with regional and global stakeholders on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong experience in Air & Ocean Freight / Freight Forwarding.
• Currently at Director, Senior Manager, Head of the department level.
• Proven track record in business development and commercial growth.
• Experience managing P&L, budgets, revenue, and margins.
• Experience working within a multinational or matrix organization preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.
