Senior AI Engineer

Synapsys is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to support a leading insurance company in Malaysia.

We are looking for a hands-on engineer with strong AWS expertise who can design, build and deploy AI solutions into production, while providing technical direction throughout delivery.

Location: Onsite, Kuala Lumpur, near KLCC

Start: Immediate start preferred. Short notice considered.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions on AWS.

• Build generative AI and LLM applications, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Develop Python services and integrate AI capabilities into business applications.

• Build and orchestrate solutions using AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda and Step Functions.

• Establish MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.

• Provide solution architecture guidance and technical leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience.

• Strong Python development skills.

• Hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda and Step Functions.

• Practical experience building GenAI, LLM and RAG applications.

• Experience with MLOps, Terraform and CI/CD.

• A proven record of delivering AI/ML solutions into production.

• Strong solution architecture and technical leadership capabilities.

• Availability to work onsite near KLCC.
