Job Description
Responsibilities
Assist doctors and registered nurses with basic procedures and treatments under their supervision and direction.
Support registered nurses in carrying out basic care activities, such as wound dressing, where trained and authorised to do so.
Observe residents’ general condition and vital signs as instructed, document and record observations accurately, and promptly report any changes to the registered nurse.
Assist and supervise residents with activities of daily living, including personal grooming and other routine care needs.
Accompany and support residents during outings, transfers and medical appointments as required.
