Job Description:
Collaborate with choreographers, directors, and performers to conceptualize, design, and style costumes and accessories for live stage performances and entertainment productions.
Source, procure, and select suitable fabrics, trims, stage wear, and accessories, ensuring durability and visual impact under stage lighting.
Manage performer fittings, pattern adjustments, alterations, and tailoring to ensure comfort, mobility, and stage safety.
Oversee backstage wardrobe management, quick-change preparations, and garment maintenance during rehearsals and live shows.
Maintain inventory of costumes, garments, and wardrobe supplies; manage regular laundering, steaming, and timely repairs.
Job Requirements:
Relevant experience in stage costume design, wardrobe styling, fashion styling, or live performance production.
Practical skills in garment alterations, sewing, tailoring, and fabric handling.
Strong organizational ability to manage quick changes and high-tempo backstage operations.
Willingness to work flexible hours according to production and performance schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
